Here’s a peak at all the fun activities that we’ve been getting up to in February!

03/02/20 - Y4/5 Badminton Bonanza

Well done to all the children that took part in the Badminton Bonanza at Corfe Hills School. You tried really hard in a range of fun badminton activities.

05/02/20 – Y5/6 Swimming Gala

On Wednesday 5th February, some children from years 5 and 6 participated in a swimming gala at Rossmore Leisure Centre. This competition was against many other strong schools. All the children should be really proud of their efforts. There were many impressive individual performances as well as team efforts. Well done everyone!

07/02/20 – Y5/6 Girls Football AFCB Finals

After winning the previous tournament, the girls competed in a ‘Finals’ tournament with the winning school claiming the prize of representing AFC Bournemouth in the national Primary Stars finals. On the day, the girls showed amazing effort and produced two of their best performances to date. This resulted in them winning both their matches and coming 1st place! What a great achievement! This now means they will travel to Watford FC’s Premier league stadium later on in the year and compete in The Primary Stars national final against all the other premier league teams from across the country! Fantastic effort girls! Well done!   

12/02/20 – Y5/6 Netball v Ocean Academy

Our Y5/6 netball team took on Ocean Academy on a wet Wednesday afternoon. The team played some excellent netball against a skilled Ocean’s team and showed great resilience throughout. Great effort boys and girls

26/02/20 – Y4 Rugby Megafest

What a great afternoon of rugby! Thank you Poole Rugby Club and Poole High Sports Leaders for running all of the fun rugby activities that the children took part in so well! If you want to play rugby outside of school, please see the information in the pictures.
